How Keepsake uses cookies

This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies we use to operate and improve Keepsake.

Effective date: 5 August 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies like local storage and tracking pixels.

2. Cookies we use

  • Essential cookies: Required to keep you signed in, remember project selections, and secure the app experience.
  • Analytics technologies: With your permission, PostHog, Google Analytics, and Ahrefs receive page URLs, referrers, device or browser details, and page or feature usage. PostHog activity may be linked to your account after you sign in. Ahrefs does not need to set a cookie to collect its website-analytics events.
  • Payment cookies: Stripe sets cookies when you complete purchases to prevent fraud and remember checkout preferences.
  • Marketing technologies: With your permission, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Reddit pixels receive page-visit and conversion events and use identifiers to measure ads. You can decline them without affecting your use of Keepsake.

3. Managing cookies

You can adjust your browser settings to refuse or delete cookies. If you disable essential cookies, parts of Keepsake may not function correctly. Use to grant or withdraw analytics and marketing consent at any time.

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, Keepsake treats it as a limit on marketing measurement. Withdrawing a category starts a fresh page so page-level tracking listeners are no longer active.

4. Updates

We may update this cookie policy when we add new features or vendors. We’ll post the changes here with an updated effective date.
